WE ARE RESIDENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE BLUE MOUNTAINS AND WESTERN SYDNEY COMMUNITIES WHO OPPOSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROPOSED WESTERN SYDNEY AIRPORT AT BADGERY'S CREEK. WE OBJECT TO THE LEVELS OF NOISE AND AIR POLLUTION IT WILL CAUSE IN OUR BLUE MOUNTAINS WORLD HERITAGE SITE AND ACROSS WESTERN SYDNEY AND OF THE HARMFUL IMPACTS GENERALLY THAT NOISE, AIR POLLUTION AND TRAFFIC CONGESTION WILL CAUSE TO THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN THESE COMMUNITIES.

The group was formed by members of Mountains against Badgery's Creek Airport, Jenny and Peter Dollin. MABCA fought, and won, against the same bad plan to site a second Sydney Airport at Badgery's Creek- this time the government is calling it Western Sydney Airport. But don't be fooled it's the same airport that's still a bad plan for Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

The "hardened" activists from MABCA ( who are in reality just mums and dads with real day jobs fighting for their community), this time are joined by other real people, primarily from Lower Blue Mountains towns like Blaxland, all with varying political beliefs. We are determined to work with but not be owned by any particular group. We will work with whichever politicians wants to fight it, but we do not represent anyone but concerned residents. Most of us are not at all experienced in activism, just care.

We welcome new members from anywhere, you might also live under proposed flight paths e.g. Penrith, Blacktown, Upper and Mid Mountains or you might just enjoy and want to keep on enjoying the World heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park and don't want to see it destroyed by this rushed and poorly designed airport.
